The programs enable you to visit the regular exhibitions as often as you wish, free of charge, and offers additional benefits for special exhibitions and many more events. |

| Membership to Friends of TNM allows unlimited visits to the museum's regular exhibitions and discounted admittance to special exhibitions. Periodic mailings will inform you of new and upcoming exhibitions. Furthermore, membership benefits include discounts to special events as well as the museum's shops and restaurants. |

Applications are accepted at the Tokyo National Museum main gate. Your membership will be valid from the time of your application. The office is basically open from 9:30 until 16:30; it is open until 17:30 Saturdays, Sundays and Special Holidays during April to September, until 19:30 Fridays during special exhibitions being held from April to December. |

Please request to join the program at the main entrance gate of the Tokyo National Museum. We offer this service at the gate, so you can use your membership right away on the very visit, without paying the entry again. Hours are from 9:30 until 16:30, except Saturdays, Sundays and Special Holidays from April to September until 17:30 and Fridays from April to December during special exhibition periods until 19:30.
